What is your company’s elevator pitch?
TRANSAX builds payment processing technology. Our flagship product is TRANSAX Gateway – a robust, feature rich, mobile friendly payments platform
Who are your clients and give an example of how you served that person or business?
We work with partners who bring us into their clients. We earn our revenue off of their clients. An example partner of ours is a company called Parkonect – a parking equipment and software vendor. TRANSAX Gateway is embedded in their software. Each garage that signs up with Parkonect becomes a TRANSAX customer as well.
What is your most successful sales strategy?
We extend our sales force through partnerships. By partnering with organizations that are larger than ours, and bundling our software with their offerings, we extend our sales reach significantly.
Who is your Mentor and how has he or she have helped you in your business?
My mentoring team consists of four mentors: Leo Dietlin, Boyd Harman, Dewki Argawella and Lee Brown. Lee and the others at SCORE have been instrumental in helping me restructure my sales, customer service and marketing efforts to help fuel our growth.
What is the most important lesson you have learned in business that might help others?
I have found that the one common trait that all successful people have is that they are undaunted by failure. We all fall. Success comes from standing back up and trying again. Persistence is the key.
